Cyanotypes - Christian Marclay Text by: Noam M. Elcott Designed by NORM Cyanotypes is a book designed to document and contextualize a series of images produced by visual artist, performer and composer Christian Marclay in collaboration with the University of South Florida’s research atelier, Graphicstudio. Over the last six years Marclay has made repeated visits to the Tampa studio where he has experimented and extended the limits of this “blueprinting” process. This volume illustrates 44 of the unique cyanotypes produced at Graphicstudio and includes an illuminating text by Noam Elcott that contextualizes this body of work. The book was designed by NORM and co-published by Graphicstudio and JRP|Ringier Books, Zurich. |
